I grew up in a small village in Ukraine, where nothing was handed to you and every level up had to be earned. I started hustling at 13. When we moved to the Czech Republic, I won the biggest hackathon in the country and talked my way into one of the best agencies in Prague.

For years I dreamed of working at Google, until I realized I can't build someone else's vision. So I bet on my own. I failed seven startups, walked away from the best high school in the country, and moved to the USA with almost nothing, to spend the rest of my life building things that matter.

I write this blog for the kid I used to be, everything I wish someone had told me at 15, 16, 17, 18. Most of it ends up in my essays.
